By virtue of growing up with a professional cook/baker for a mother and being a part of a family of foodies, cooking (and eating) has always been a core part of who I am. Over the years, I have found a love of creating dishes in the fusion style: drawing from the many different cultural food experiences that I’ve had. I even followed in my mother’s footsteps for a short while by becoming a professional designer-cupcake creator (featured in a few publications). These days, I’m strictly a vegetarian, but will still on occasion prepare meat for my friends and family (i.e. my fiance) to enjoy.
